The National Super Alliance (NASA) on Saturday, November 25, affirmed that they do not recognize the October 26 election and Uhuru Kenyatta as a legitimately elected president.
The Coalition made the announcement in Maanzoni, Machakos county, during which it also set in motion the hotly debated People's Assembly.

"People's Assembly is not a parallel government as some people want you to believe. It is a process of chatting people's destiny," said Musalia Mudavadi, one of NASA's co-principals, during the Maanzoni press conference.

NASA went further to call upon its Members of Parliament not to be part of the vetting of President Uhuru's Cabinet.
"We call upon members of parliament affiliated to NASA not to participate in vetting of Uhuru's cabinet," Mudavadi said.

The Coalition will on Tuesday, November 28, converge at the Jacaranda grounds to celebrate lives of 26 supporters who were allegedly killed by the police.
"I urge Kenyans to join us at Jacaranda to mourn lives of dearly departed men, women and children who were killed by the police," Mudavadi said.

NASA's planned rally, which has not been approved by the police, will ran paralle to President Uhuru's swearing in ceremony at Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani.
