Through their family spokesman Saitoti Ole Maika, the late CS’ widow Hellen Nkaissery made it clear that leaders from both opposition and the ruling party could attend the burial.
She also expressed her regret at the unfortunate incident that happened during the weekend where some NASA leaders were barred from the late Cabinet Secretary’s Karen home when they came to pay respect.
Despite the open invite to all leaders, Maika was still wary of any politics that may arise on the day.
