Getafe have made one change from their last outing against Leganes. Shibasaki comes into the fold to replace Jorge Molina in the final third. Angel will lead the line supported by Shibasaki, Ndiaye and Portillo at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona have been forced into changes at the back, leaving with inexperience in the centre of their defence. Mina makes his first league start alongside Digne. Pique is on the bench, but Samuel Umtiti is suspended, while Thomas Vermaelen is injured. In the attacking third of the pitch, Coutinho and Alcacer come into the team as Iniesta and Andres Gomes drop out of the starting line-up. Ter Stegen returns between the sticks after Cillessen started against Valencia during the week.

Getafe subs: Emiliano Martinez, Leandro Cabrera, Mathieu Flamini, Loic Remy, Sergio Mora, Juan Cala, Jorge Molina.

GETAFE (4-2-3-1): Vicente Guatia; Damian Suarez, Bruno Gonzalez, Djene Dakonam, Vitorino Antunes; Faycal Fajr, Mauro Arambarri; Francisco Portillo, Gaiku Shibasaki, Amath Ndiaye; Angel Rodriguez.

The team news has been announced and we’ll start with the home side.

Getafe have been solid this term and are occupying a comfortable spot in mid-table. They are unbeaten in their last four matches, although they’ve drawn their last three matches on the bounce. The good run of form did include 1-1 draw against Sevilla on the road, which saw Angel notch a stoppage-time equaliser. They will need that level of performance once again to earn a positive result this afternoon.

Barcelona remain unbeaten this season in LaLiga in a run that stretches 22 matches. Their seven-game winning streak was brought to an end by Espanyol last week in the Catalan derby as Gerard Pique rescued a point with eight minutes remaining,  Ernesto Valverde’s men secured their place in the final of the Copa del Rey during the week, defeating Valencia 2-0 on the road. The club are on the charge on all three fronts.

Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the LaLiga clash between Barcelona and Getafe at the Camp Nou.
