Chiefs confirm Tshabalala’s exit


Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of Siphiwe Tshabalala to newly promoted Turkish Super Lig club Erzurumspor.

The 33-year-old leaves Amakhosi after 11-and-a-half years at the club to kick start his European career in Turkey.

Yaya Toure has passed a medical in London and is “close to signing a new contract”, the player’s agent has claimed.

La Liga side Girona FC officially announced the signing of Cote d’Ivoire international Seydou Doumbia on a three-year deal from Sporting Lisbon.


Reims interested in Sheyi Ojo


Stade Reims have expressed interest to sign Sheyi Ojo on loan for the rest of the season, according to SkySports.

The French side are keen on signing the 21-year-old, although nothing has been agreed ahead of the European transfer deadline on Friday.

Ojo spent last season on loan at Fulham and he is set for his fourth loan spell in his Liverpool career.



Los Angeles Galaxy are interested in signing ex-Arsenal and Cote d’Ivoire defender Emmanuel Eboue, reports the Sun.

The 35-year-old could reignite his career in the Major League Soccer after two years out of football.

Galaxy believe Eboue’s experience could be beneficial to the club after enduring crisis on and off the pitch.

Brazilian club Cruzeiro are also interested in signing the former Galatasaray defender.


Sevilla turn to Trezeguet


Sevilla have indicated interest in signing Kasimpasa winger Mahmoud Trezeguet after a failed attempt to land PSG‘s Julian Draxler, claims KingFut .

Trezeguet has attracted interests from top European clubs this summer including Marseille, Galatasaray and Stuttgart following his exploits in the Turkish top-flight last term where he scored 16 goals in 33 games.

The Egyptian was in action for 90 minutes as Kasimpasa thrashed Sivasspor 3-0 on Sunday.


Camara to stop football


French Ligue 1 outfit Guingamp have announced that Guinea international Abdoul Camara will never play football for the club again, due to medical reasons.

“The forward of Guingamp is today very sad to announce that his player Razza Camara will no longer wear the jersey of the EAG, for medical reasons following a long process of exams that have just given their verdict,” the club tweeted.

Barca target Salah as Messi’s successor


Barcelona are planning to swoop for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah to succeed Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou in 2019, Don Balon reports.

The Egyptian forward who recently penned a new long-term contract with the Reds is interesting the LaLiga champions are weighing up a £226m fee to lure him to Spain.

Salah has been sensational since he returned to the Premier League in the summer of 2017 having ended last season with 44 goals across all competitions.
